Dear Mad Decent people, we regret to inform you that we have decided not to go ahead with December Fest. Over the last few weeks, we have been working with two schools of thougths; friends who appreciated our efforts for the artist community, for bringing musicians together in the spirit of peace and brotherhood, and for aligning Pakistani musicians with international acts. The second group of thought, although also appreciating these efforts, has shown concern over the date December 16, and told us we are disrespecting the APS victims. Our intentions have been far from those of disrespect, they have been to honor and create remembrance of the APS victims with both nationl and international audiences and media, telling them "We honor the APS victims, and they will not be forgotten. We are getting together in their name to say 'Pakistan and its kids are far more than just bombs and killings, we are like other kids, and we have defeated our attackers'". This remembrance concert was to send out such a message to the world. Nevertheless, our efforts for Pakistan's artist community and its youth shall continue, and we have decided to combine the December Fest with Mad Decent Block Party happening in March. We apologize for any inconvenience caused to any of you, and those who have purchased tickets will of course be refunded.
Please call 03005303099 for refunds, and follow our socials for updates on upcoming events. See you all on the Mad Decent Block Party 2019!
